WestConnex is a 33km traffic-light-free motorway network and one of Australia’s largest road infrastructure projects. Sydney’s M4 WestConnex comprises eight lanes stretching 7.5km. Connecting Parramatta to Homebush and bypassing 22 sets of traffic lights, it greatly reduces congestion and travel times. The New M4 6-lane tunnel extension connects Homebush to Haberfield and has effectively created a western bypass of the city for faster, safer and more predictable trips.
