FMG Pilbara Transmission Project

Integrating Fortescue Metals Group (FMG)’s iron ore mining and port operations in the Pilbara into one common 220kV network, the Pilbara Transmission Project comprises 275km of high voltage overhead transmission lines with terminal and substation infrastructure.

Powerlines Plus contracted ACOM Group to undertake the installation and pre-commissioning of 220kV GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear).
